Yvaine Cas Morgana has always lived on the fringes of ownership and identity, with nothing truly her own. Everything she has-from clothes to personal belongings-is either a gift or discarded item, repurposed into her life. Her wardrobe, largely composed of men's clothing, is a constant reminder of her childhood best friend, Cairo Gael Genovese, who generously supplied her with his hand-me-downs.

Growing up, Yvaine's tomboyish appearance led many to mistakenly label her as a lesbian. Though she doesn't fit into the LGBTQ+ community, she never bothered correcting anyone, content in her own understanding of herself.
