The routine for Pokemon trainers striving to be the very best has always been straightforward. They train, train more, and train even more.

However, what if that training was both effective and fun at the same time? After all, who in the world doesn't want to have fun?

Rumours about a certain gaming cafe in Levincia City have begun to spread beyond even Paldea,  rumours of how even ordinary trainers have become extraordinary.

There is only one single rule though... never anger the owner. Sometimes it is best to leave sleeping lions alone.

He catches his Pikachu with Kaetlin's hands and the two have been friends ever since, Friede falling in love with her. Their friendship is powerful and since he started the Rising Volt Tacklers, she's been his human partner, often jumping on Charizard with him and they take off. When they get a call to escort Liko home to Paldea by Friede's old teacher, a wild adventure unfolds. A - The book crosses over with @Bossun24 's Pokemon Leaf Chronicles for 6 chapters. The crossover had been planned 1 year prior to its publishing. Q - Why is Leaf replaced by Lyra? A - Leaf is not replaced by Lyra, both characters are different in their own ways. I wanted to get Leaf out of the picture for a different kind of character growth. Lyra is Red's cousin sister, with Red being an experienced trainer, he acts like a mentor to her. Q - So time travel happens in this one? A - It does, and its fun how it plays out. Q - Who is this Masked Man? There was a masked man in the manga too. A - While the idea was original, a mystery man who structures every Team Rocket plan and assists Giovanni. I was shocked to see that the manga had someone named "Masked Man" as well. Q - Who is this Masked Man? And why is he important? A - A mystery man controlling every aspect of a criminal organisation and has been the true mastermind of Giovanni's every plan? Sounds pretty important to me. As for his identity, I was very unsure if I was ever going to reveal it as it was not very important at first until the second book was coming to an end.

The second one is two beautiful litterature works - "Night on the Galactic Railroad" by Kenji Miyazawa, as well as "Life is a Dream" by Pedro Calderón de la Barca. In the background, I have been listening non-stop to the album "Sora no Niwa" by Akino Arai. You will certainly notice the omnipresence of the lexical field of light and dream in all its forms... If you do not know them, I recommend you listen to/read them as their influence have helped me build an entire mood in this fanfiction! Please note the illustrations are mine. Enjoy!
