School Of Liars

Red Valley Institute, a boarding school located in the human populated side of Neverland, has many strict rules, but the most important rule of all is probably the banning of all magic. Anyone who is caught using magic is suspected to be a changeling after all, which is a crime punishable by death.

Mako Rodwell is a quiet new student at Red Valley, freshly transferred and sent away from home because he was the cause of his identical twin's accidental death. Not that he actually lives at the school, though. Only the very rich can afford actual housing there. Instead, he lives in an abandoned house located near the school and his housemate as well as best friend is a stray cat named Fin.

That doesn't seem so bad, right? Wrong. A few times every month, magic using fae with eerily long limbs and sharp teeth find ways into the city to cause as much destruction as possible in the form of surprise attacks. Humans were never welcome in Neverland and they'll to anything to prevent people from forgetting this. One day, the fae not only begin to purposely avoid harming Mako, but they also suddenly seem to be drawn to wherever he is like moths to a lantern- even to the point of actively attempting to kidnap him. His mysterious and sudden magnetic pull towards magic puts Mako at an even greater risk since the students of the school already have their eyes on him. Will he be able to make it through the next semester or not?
