While on their Hawaii vacation, they learn that his wife's cousin's fiancé was brainwashed by Val's team while James and his future cousin-in-law were on a mission. Soon James learns that Val wanted a new super soldier like the one she has locked up somewhere. Also SHIELD gets involved and finds out who Val's Secret Weapon is.
On the home front, James and his family deal with family things and the boys going to school in the fall. Also they have a new principal. Also Bucky/James is figuring out if he wants to be a co-owner of a gym or doing something else with his life.

James/Bucky and his wife go on a short vacation to Niagara Falls. It's on his bucket list to see this great Wonder of the World or in the USA.
