It was the final round of races for the season. I never doubted myself until it came to y/n. She was the one car who could compete with me, but nothing could come in between me and my trophy.
We challenged each other, and regardless of how much she annoyed me, I secretly liked it. The boost of adrenaline I would get when we went back and forth passing each other just before we went through the finish line. She encouraged me to push myself harder than I could do on my own, which is something I could never tell her.
