Born after the Long Winter- a time in which the harshest, most unforgiving winters ravaged the territories seven seasons in a row- Halfpaw is dutiful, hardworking, and healthy. While he hears stories of the Long Winter, it's severity is outside his perception, and he refuses to understand how such an event seems to have torn his clan away from divinity. The Long Winter left many cats hungry, angry, dead- there was no point in praying to StarClan any more. Even as summer returns, StarClan is ignored.
However, Halfpaw dares to defy this. As he grows closer and closer to their forgotten divinity, it's suddenly clear there is one other cat who walks his path. It's the one who confuses him, the one he ignores- a tom who refuses to speak.
Are there secrets this tom can't bare to voice? And is he the key to an unraveling over world?
