This was an English assignment gone wrong... It turned out wonderful. As my first rhyming poem since I was seven, in my opinion it pretty good. Anyway, this is a short work about the loss of a close friend. Enjoy!!

I know I was important to u as u were to me. I'll forever hold our memories. She changed. She wasn't the same. Everything I once loved and knew started falling to pieces. She left me. Moved away. I didn't get to see her for 3 years. "I promise" she told me. "I'll still keep that promise!" Were her last words face to face with me. Her 16th birthday came. It was all fun and jokes, she tried her best to keep in touch with us. 6 months later... She was in the hospital. 24 months have passed... Will she ever wake up? I stayed beside her day and night. In the middle of the night... She made her choice. Everyone awoke. Now I'm standing at your grave with black and red roses in my hand. I hope you're doing fine. Forget me. Not.

You are feeling a deep pull, like an invisible thread connecting you to the past. A memory, long buried, begins to surface-laughter echoing in the night, promises made under a fading summer sky. Ten years have passed, and life has pulled you in different directions, but something is calling you back. A message, a name you haven't spoken in years. One of you is running out of time. As you close your eyes, you feel the weight of unfinished conversations, unspoken apologies, and the warmth of friendships you thought you had lost. I was a stupid... thinking he loves me... never he did and never he will do it... i thought his friendship, his care, his talks as love... i was stupid... thank god i found it before i would say it... i am leaving him once and for all as i dont want to be a burden or interference in his life... i am leaving him once and for all... it is paining but i know i can move on... i will not love anyone but i will make sure i am forgetting him... i have to be strong and i have do it.... Just a glimpse into my mind. Or if you want a better synopsis, read below. I like to type out my feelings into poems with no actual structure. I hope to make you laugh sometime and even cry because I just do. Warning: these come from angsty teenager Jenny. I really did try to use proper grammar. Sometimes. Okay, fine. It's rare-ish.

Anera was a sixteen year old girl with a boyfriend name Daerion. Sweet, kind and sensitive the prefect guy. The saying "love is blind" is so true. She visited his house and is greeted by quite a surprise. Daerion, my lovable boyfriend having sex with another girl. On their anniversary. Ouch, right?! He make excuses like all men do when caught. She made a vow to never trust or fall for a transparent guy. One year later, she has a dream of that bitter memory. And dream don't have not meaning right? Wrong. The one time she doesn't want to be right, she is. Daerion was back whenever she like it or not. That's not even the worst of it, a person from her past, Jason. Who never been her biggest fan either, she was 100% he hated her. And guess where he live? Right next door. So yeah she was screwed. Will things go back to normal as she hope? Will she even want it to? And by the end of it will she be the same person she was before? That was one thing she knew for certain though. Good or bad she would learn a lesson even if she wanted to or not.
