Choices: A Divergent Fanfic

Taken place in the world of Divergent's dystopian Chicago, Xavier and Natalie are born into Dauntless.

Natalie, while born in Dauntless, feels unfamiliar with her faction. Her feelings toward the faction system make it hard for her to pick between staying with her faction, and leaving to start a new life. She's worried about what a new life would bring her. But she doesn't want to leave her best friend behind.
Xavier, born brave and courageous, knows where he belongs. He doesn't have a hard time understanding his role in his faction and within the society he inhabits. But his ego is his downfall.

When Natalie decides to leave Dauntless, Xavier becomes furious with her decision. As they both go through initiation in their respective factions, they find that there's an underlying situation happening in their society.
Will they see each other again? And if they do, will they survive the new horrors that Erudite threatens to bring to their society.

For those who want to stay within the world of Divergent, please read! While I cannot write with one-hundred percent accuracy (because of lack of details of other factions in the books), I want to be able to explore the world of Divergent through other lenses. This story follows closely with the same timeline given in Divergent, however, I will be taking a dive into other factions as the story develops.

I do not own any of the characters mentioned in this book that are also written in the origianl Divergent series.
