Azrael was always drawn to Malia. She was so quiet. She sat alone, drew in her sketchbook, minded her business and didn't let anyone get too close. He wanted to know more about her. But he couldn't. Not because he was too shy, but because of what he was. When Malia's life is threatened by another one of his kind, he jumps into action, defying all of his morals, to not get close to her.

Life was just a huge nightmare for Ife and things just seemed to go from bad to worse for her. She never caught a break. She didn't think she did anything to deserve such a life but then again, even if she didn't know what it was, God knows all. The quickest escape would have been suicide. But suicide wasn't the bravest. It was cowardly. But she didn't even have the courage to try. When she gets a chance to meet the Angel of Death as she'd been wishing, it doesn't quite go as planned.
