Elinor Jackson, she's not your average high school nerd with the glasses that every one thinks of when they think of a nerd. She's more than that, she knows her worth and she isn't worth the lowest of the low, nor the most popular title of school. She's just getting through high school so she can get to college and plan out her future. Being taken care of by two good living parents with an older sister, her family is pretty stable.

Every school has their bad girl or guy, the bad girl of Pierce High School just so happens to be Harvey Peters. Her grades slip, she gets in fights, suspended and almost expelled. She wants to get out of high school as soon as she can. Being taken care of by a mother who is sick but works two jobs to support her two kids. While Harvey is also working a job and selling substances on the side for money, she's doing everything she can to help her mother.

It's the Senior year. Everyone wants to get out. But how will the school year go if Harvey can't keep her grades up? Will Elinor start the school year the same as the last ones?
