The clans are growing more and more hostile with one another. Medicine Cats are afraid to cross boundaries to retrieve herbs, kits are being killed on opposing territories, and battle often end with one or two deaths. After a 7 day storm caused by fighting during a Gathering, a small group of cats who claim to truly be connected with StarClan decide the Clans have not right to speak with the spirits until the conflict resolves
