Avian Daniels is average, despite not remembering much of her childhood before becoming a ward of the state. At seven she is discovered and taken in by a relative she can't recall from her past. she keeps mostly to herself and goes with the flow of life but Avian is not average at all.

She soon finds herself in a situation she never dreamed of, but thought possible. Anything was possible, right? Even the things that make you question reality.

Avian learns that reality is an understatement and fate has a way of twisting the threads until all you can do is accept what is dealt. Acceptance first, questions later. And there are many questions to be answered when her neighbors decide it best to protect her from forces that she's never encountered outside a novel.
