POLICE X CRIMINAL AU | AJ and Rainbow grew up together and were raised by a crime agency who took in children to manipulate them into doing their dirty work as they aged, controlled into believing what they were doing was normal. Both followed dutifully and unaware until the fateful day where they were confronted by the harsh reality of their upbringing and what a true life of crime for them would be like if they continued down this path. With one driven away to a life of purity as a police officer and the other unable to let go of the only family she's ever known, the two lead different lives on opposite sides of the law. Through flirtatious fights, angsty apprehensions, and overwhelming realisations, the two struggle to accept the true fact that was clear since they parted. All they wanted was eachother.
