This is what Lily tells her children when their lives are turned upside down. Leaving behind a life of turmoil and abuse they journey west. What Lily finds is a community who take in her and her children as if they always belonged. What she doesn't expect is the man that shows up one day and changes her life all over again. Will he be a good man or will he bring back her worst nightmares? I have been slowly updating when I can. So the story has changed here and there.
