When a desperate Myrcella Baratheon finds herself a confused, mistaken, and misplaced new member of an incredible family, she isn't sure how to or even if she should correct the accident. She quite prefers the privacy of Winterfell, but never intended to stay there. In fact, she is quite sure things would be better (and safer) if she left. Now their suspicious oldest son has his eyes on her, their oldest daughter is her best friend, and their ill mother might not survive the truth, if Myrcella even decides to tell it. A modern AU-verse romance of Game of Thrones that is part tragedy, part comedy, and all heart.

"I am no longer fragile; I am furious." Daerys Targaryen, the second and last child of King Viserys and Queen Aemma, lives her life impulsively. Beloved in court, she enjoys all the freedom that her youth and being a dragonrider affords her. When her father and stepmother, Queen Alicent, inform Daerys of her duty to wed her half-brother Aegon, she is less than pleased. As Daerys is thrust from her gleeful youth, she begins to see that the court of the Red Keep is not as kind as it seemed. With war looming on the horizon, each choice she makes could either raise her to the Iron Throne itself or cause her to stumble into nothingness. *This story is in the process of being edited.* *Begun August 2024, finished November 2025.* *150,000-160,000 words*
