***For those of you familiar with 'The Fall', this is Steve and Caroline's story; this book's timeline begins on January 23, 2020.***
Everyone knows Captain America...only a few know Steve Rogers, the man behind the shield. While it's common knowledge that he carries a torch for the late Peggy Carter, only a handful of people know that he's ready for a second chance at love; that he wants the type of relationship his best friend, Bucky, has with his soulmate, Réa.
Caroline Sullivan is recovering from her own heartbreak. A widow doing her best to raise her young son, Adam-who lost his arm in the same accident that took her late husband's life-she's pretty sure she's done with love. She settled once before, and refuses to do it again...she wants unconditional love, the kind that can weather any storm and become stronger and deeper for it.
To Bucky, Réa, and the Avengers, it's clear that there is something between Steve and Caroline...but will they admit and embrace it, or will the wounds of their pasts and their own fears keep them apart?

Endings And New Beginnings
This is a sequel to Red Winter. I didn't plan on writing a sequel but here it is! Again, the events transpire in a timeline where they've restored everything after defeating Thanos and reversing the effects of the snap. This is focused on Natasha, Bucky and Steve only. I have always appreciated the dynamics of Steve and Natasha's relationship even if there is no romance in it. And I often wonder how Natasha and Bucky would interact in the present considering their past. Again, I don't own Marvel and any of its characters. Just like you I daydream what happens between the fades in and fades out, between the end of the movie, its mid-credits scene and end-credit scene. And this is the result, one of the results. When the news that Bucky had been drafted into the army at 23 years old and Steve was attempting to enlist reached her, she was devastated. She couldn't loose the love of her life and best friends to the war, but she kept quiet. Now we join her and follow her story.
