this is the story of patroclus and achilles, who meet in the afterlife ---------
my eyes adjusted to the bright light shining down on my face. i was no longer floating around achilles's tomb, but in a field of flowers, accompanied by a shining blue sky and warm sun.
in the distance, i saw someone crouched down in the wading grass, weeping my name. „patroclus!!" my heart quickened when i saw flashes of his fiery golden hair, his sharp green eyes.
achilles looked toward me, irises bloodshot and his face stained red with tears. he looked shocked to see me, he thought i was gone for good. his voice breaks- but he's overwhelmed with joy.
