Prologue:
I stood frozen, my back against the cold wall of the alleyway. Gio's warm breath danced across my skin, sending shivers down my spine. "Badness, yaah pre?" he whispered, his voice husky and tempting.
I tried to push him away, but he sighed and pinned me against the wall. "Fi a likkle girl, you love give tough chat," he teased, his eyes glinting with amusement.
Before I could respond, he leaned in, his lips attaching to my neck. I felt a rush of excitement mixed with fear. This was Giovanni, the type of boy my grandparents warned me about, and I was the church girl who was supposed to stay far away from him.
But as his lips trailed kisses down my skin, I couldn't help but wonder... maybe I was tired of being the good girl. Maybe I was ready to take a walk on the wild side. And maybe, just maybe, Gio was the one to show me the way.
"This a nuh something mi used to, a swear," I whispered, trying to sound convincing. But Gio just chuckled, his lips still attached to my skin, and I knew I was in trouble.
