Selene has been a phenomenal detective almost her entire career. Everything she ever looks for, she's finding, whether it's a person, place, or thing. Anything signed with Selene Diaz-Amareto is sure to be solved.

Although she's worked incredibly hard to be the best at what she does, her entire career has always been tied to her one unsolved case: The E. L. Iser Girls.

In the thick of Selene's career, she's given a case of a murdered teenage girl, Serenity Beate. She thought it would be an open and shut case. Until Da'vina Marquette and Lolita Gonzalez. Same branding, same town, same murder. No matter what possible evidence she found, nothing stood. She almost lost everything behind those murders, especially her reputation. When pressured, she marked it off as unsolved.

Now 3 years later, there's a simliar case to the E. L. Iser Girls. Is this Selene's chance to finally catch her most haunted case or is this another potential cold case?
