He was the golden child, everyone knew that much. Always by his father's side, whether he wanted to or not didn't matter. Why should it? At the end of the day, he was his father's son. The son of the number two hero. The son of Enji Todoroki.
The moment that he opened his eyes, when he let out his first cry, before his mother could cradle him in her arms. His fate was set in blood, set in tears, set in the fire that ran through his veins.
Shoto Todoroki's life was declared in that hospital room. To be the hero that would surpass All Might.
He was his father's Masterpiece. That's all Endeavor wanted, all he needed. After 3 children he finally had it.
So why? If everything was perfect now, was there need for a last child? Was there a need for Kaida Todoroki to be born?
