Whispers of a New Day

Solara Fiona Natividad always dreams about the future she hopes to have someday. But unlike others, hindi niya ito sinasabi kahit kanino. Growing up, she found it hard to communicate with people. "Baka hindi nila maintindihan," "Hindi ko rin naman alam saan ako magsisimula," "Paano ko ba sasabihin?" These thoughts constantly plagued her mind. Though she wasn't literally quiet, Solara was a master at masking her pain with jokes and laughter. She used to believe that maybe someday, she'd find someone who would understand her completely, someone who would know every detail about her without her having to say a word.

But as time passed, she realized that maybe the problem was her silence. Mahirap nga naman manghula. She believed in finding someone who would just know her thoughts and feelings, but this led to the loss of someone she cared about.

He left, making her understand that relationships need communication and she is not yet ready for that.
