Rody was pretty hesitant to ask Manon out on a date after working for enough money to even afford one. After snooping in Vincent's office he found multiple love letters to his boss from her.
But he still loves her.
Things don't go as planned and Rody is left heartbroken.
Yet he still loves her.
He's left with no choice but to continue working at La Gueule de Saturne despite his saltiness. How else could he afford rent?
Vincent isn't surprised, he saw this coming. He lets Rody under his wing for one last time, maybe growing his interest he had ever since Rody first started working for him.
