All is not well in the underworld. In this modernized Romeo and Juliet story, the Romeo is the only son of Don Elias, the head of one of the city's biggest Italian mob families. The Juliet is the only daughter of an affluent family whose claim to fame is their hugely successful business in the manufacturing of children's products. When they meet, sparks fly. This will be the beginnings of the great fire that will eventually consume their lives and families as they struggle against fate and social boundaries. Unfortunately though, this isn't a typical Romeo and Juliet rip off because there are guns, a lot less love and lots more blood. Read at your own risk.

He slowed down, tugging back a little on her hand. Adelina looked back and smiled. He smiled back, desperately holding back the emotions that threatened to burst out. It will be enough to watch her from a distance. Maybe when he's old and bent, this one kiss would remind him that, once, he had been touched by an angel and then perhaps he might've done something to be proud of. But for now, he wants to prolong the moment for as long as possible. A damned soul catching a glimpse of Heaven's gates before falling to Hell, grasping at clouds to slow his descent.
