Octavia Robert is a high school graduate, who now lives alone in an apartment in Seattle. She was a cancer patient when she was in 10th grade. Trying their best to be there for Octavia, her parents constantly got into arguments that put their marriage at risk. Soon after Octavia was treated, her parents divorced. Her twin sister Sydney had gone with her mother while Octavia stayed wit her father. Their relationship has already been compromised during her battle with cancer, now being torn away from her other half, leaves no room for re-bonding. However a back-fire in a lab near Seattle brings forth the greatest challenge they have ever faced....They have to survive relying on each other. The world has become home to dead corpses, that viscously tear through flesh, driven by hunger that never seems to disappear. Will Octavia learn and appreciate the true meaning of life?
