"Sonic, symbol of freedom, having his stripped from him? How rich." Essentially a Forces rewrite/ Phantom ruby au!! Its a work in progress and updates will be kind of slow but I want a creative outlet for this AU! I have a list of plot points saved but the whole fic is not outlined yet. This is a reupload from my Archive account!! Also I marked this as mature for certain content warnings!! Theres a chapter that deals with false realities (Infinite and everything) and fake versions of the characters. Theres also loss of control for a character! I'll try to update this as I go and if theres anything you think that needs to be added please let me know!

(HEY! This book is being rewritten and is put into another book titled "Remnants of What Was"!) The war is done. The resistance was disbanded. Everyone can now focus on rebuilding. But as they always say, history repeats itself. A single scientist has started a project during the war, and soon created a large laboratory of others who had decided to follow their footsteps. The project was soon called, "The Infinite Stars," named after one of the most dangerous enemies the Freedom Fighters has ever faced. But the scientists alone couldn't depend on only themselves. They needed hosts to test their experiments on recreating the ruby that had started the war. [Notes will be in the book.]
