Luke laughed gently and took my hands. "I stay because I enjoy writing this story. I love this story. It has twists and turn, plot twists, drama, cliffhangers? And the protagonist is a knockout."
I looked at him confused. "What story?"
Luke put his hand on the back of my neck and drew me in slowly. "The story of US." he said, placing his lips softly on mine. And in that moment, I was content with our story.
