Everybody would describe Denki Kaminari as "weak", "always talking", "loud" and "happy". What if non of it was true? What if it was all a mask to cover up the pain of his past. What if he knew the past of some of the villains (main three, Twice, etc.)?
what if his brother was, like him, a depressed hero? What if Denki Kaminari wasn't even his real name?
This is my au. I just want to say, that my hero academia does NOT belong to me. Credits go to Kohei Horikoshi. I may have some of my own characters in it, but mostly not my own.

Deku got tired of hiding all of his emotions under a mask. Tired of keeping a smile on his face despite being constantly beaten up and ridiculed. He'd kept his mask up for so long that it was fragile as glass. The day it broke was a tragic one for his old "friend" and mother, but became a beautiful opportunity for him. The villains saved him. The villains were his family. The villains helped him put on a different mask. He was getting back at all the people who'd ridiculed him... or was he? hiii, i decided to make a shinkami story, this is my first book, I am always open to suggestions and I hope you all like this book throughout the book we see that Denki kaminaris homelife is quite the best, his father hits him and blames him for his sister and mother's death. the only reason he doesn't tell counselors that he is being abused is that his little brother, he doesn't want to be separated in adoption homes. when shinsou is transferred to class 1a because Mineta was kicked out. He starts to see that something is masked behind that smile and bumble bee-like hair, will this tired, coffee-obsessed boy, and off-brand Pikachu learn to become great friends or perhaps.. even more than that TW!! self-harm homophobia talk of 13+ such (no not what you are probably thinking) ps. But once he moves to a different school, he decides to shove all that pain, the horrible memories in the back of his mind. That from now on, he would be happy whenever he wasn't alone. He would wear a mask for as long as he needed to. But he meets some interesting people at this new school of his. People who ACTUALLY care about him besides his mom and brother. Someone he couldn't hide all this pain from. This someone, in particular, breaks down all his walls, causing him to tell that someone everything.
