Blind Date | Velvette x Reader Oneshot

"(Y/N), babe, cancel whatever boring loser plans you had tonight." She hums, tossing the bag onto my bed. "You're going on a blind date." I blinked up at her as I paused from reading my book. "A what?"

"A blind date!" She gestured wildly, as if that explained everything. "With someone very special. You're welcome in advance."

I opened my mouth to ask who, but she cut me off with a flick of her finger. "Nope. No questions. Just get dressed. Look cute. Well... cuter. I'll take care of everything else."

Then she vanished before I could argue, leaving me alone with the garment bag and a strange fluttering in my stomach. Velvette being dramatic wasn't unusual but this level of enthusiasm was suspicious even for her.
