The Red Room is all Sofja Ivanova knows, being 16 and raised, no, trained here ever since she can remember. It's a harsh reality, one no girl inside those walls in the cold of Russia can escape. And with it being her reality, Sofja wants to show that she can be something. The assassin they want her to be.
The other girls in her age group are just as determinated as Sofja herself, comparison a daily struggle, after all they are all raised to fight against each other. Because the Red Room is no place for weakness. For second thoughts. For friends, or god forbid - feelings.
But what if there comes a new girl, or so Sofja thought, that shows her what it means to feel? To Care? Giving her the view of what the red room really is. What they do to those girls.

This is my first try on writing a own story, so please bear with me - I don't know where we are headed, but my intention is to show a harsher side of the Red Room, one we sadly didn't get.

Wolf Avenger x Natasha
Note, this takes place before Infinity War and ignores the bit in Black Widow where the Red Room, also known as the Black Widow Program, was terminated. Also ignores the Socovia Acords. It stands to reason that there were others to escape the clutches of the Red Room other than Natasha Romanoff. Would they also be Avenger material? Would they maybe even help Natasha to see that her past does not need to haunt her forever, that she can let go and have what normal people have? Luka-short for Lupus-was a widow. The Red room ran experiments to create the best widow. They experimented with cell manipulation. They've fused Lu's cells with wolf DNA and they can not know that they were successful-at whatever the cost. Shortly after she was experimented on, Luka escaped and supposedly died from the inhuman transformation. However, she did not die and went on to live a life as an assassin-the only life she knows how to live. When a string of strange, animalistic, maulings occur in New York in a time between battles when the Avengers have too much time on their hands, Captain America aids in the investigation. Little do they know that the perpetrator is an ex Widow experiment and that she needs their help. Skylar's one wish was to create a place for her in this world. So when she managed to escape the Red Room a few years ago, she made sure to become someone else and live a quiet life in New York. She tried her best to leave her past life behind her, but needed to rely on her skills to survive. Annika grew up in the mysterious Red Room, the place where the all so famous Natasha Romanoff got trained. Except, back in Russia, she is known by a different name. Natalia Alianovna, one of the most successful assassins the Red Room ever had. One of the few to gain the title, Black Widow, from graduating from the Red Room. But she left that life behind, going to America, and becoming a 'Avenger'. Only problem is, the people who trained her want her back. And they will take whatever they have to. Here is where Annika comes in. She is the youngest girl ever to graduate from the Red room at the young age of thirteen. As a baby, she was found left by the gates of the building, abandoned. Left with only a first name, they decided to take her in. She grew up there, starting her training much younger than the six year olds that are dropped off. With that start, and simply never knowing anything else, made her much more dangerous than any other girl there. She started missions at six, being able to do more damage because of her younger age. They found another mission for her, one that was unique from all of her others. She had to befriend the young Spider-Man, and get him to show her the other Avengers. So she could bring the older Black Widow home. Part 2: Annika and Peter are headed off for an eventful year at MIT college, trying to live life to the absolute fullest when strange things start happening around the school. How will the two young Superhero's deal with this problem as well as pass their finals? AN: Okay, so I'm gonna say it now, before the story even starts. I am making a separate universe. for all of her life, natalia alianovna romanova 'natasha romanoff' has had nothing, and no one. all shes ever known is death. what started out as a simple mission for the red room pulls natasha into a life she never could've expected to have. if you're reading this in 2021- i promise my writing has improved, my newer stuff is much better. and this was written before black widow came out, and before i got into the comics, so it's not canon compliant in any way. everything is in nat's point of view.Concluida
