These are the first few chapters of a book I'm currently working on. It won't be uploaded completely onto here, as this should be seen more as a reading sample, rather than a whole book. I plan on publishing it by the end of 2026 and would be happy if you were to buy it then.
The book is a gay romance with a sort of supernatural twist, which I will not elaborate on any further, as it would spoil the plot.
Description of book:
Will is a 17 year old boy living in northern england in the late 80s. He had never been much of a people person until he one day meets Mathew whom he falls in love with. This changes his life drastically.

I'm a textbook pessimist and I like it just the way it is. Eynal is a highborn boy who has whatever he could need to be happy but his outlook on life plagues him at every turn, obsessed by the notion that existence is entirely pointless living in his own world void of anything remotely positive he turns a blind eye to anything that is expected of him, but forces beyond him thrust an entirely new situation upon him that he fails to navigate with his usual indifference will he adapt and change as expected? or will he find a way to cast it aside as he always has. This story is based around medieval fantasy with some inspiration from the classics (Lotr, GOT) it will navigate the personal lives of two characters who are polar opposites and an increasingly fragile political situation in the world they live in *this is my first time ever writing something so if i suck please dont bully me XD*Complete

This story used to be something i wrote for my own comfort, for fun back in 2022 or 2023. So its going to be cringe, and weird, and very silly. But its not supposed to be taken that seriously in the first place. It has elements of minecraft lore and medieval fantasy. Also, there's going to be intense gay love. Don't like, don't read. I will try to update once every month, and ill read comments for sure. feedback would be nice because im an amateur writer.
