Alexandria and her younger siblings were bitten by the same vampire that killed their mother. At the ages of 12, 8, and 5, this makes them immortal children. But their will to spare humans is stronger than their urge to drink their blood. Alexandria is protective of her younger siblings, having lost all else. They avoid other vampires at all costs, but the Cullens are determined to help the children and will not be ignored.
