As we move further away, the familiar surroundings of my home blur. The comforting smells, the pictures on the walls, the warmth of familiarity-all fade into an overwhelming sense of dread. I thrash violently, hoping to slip from the masked man's hold, but his grip is like iron. "Stop struggling," he growls, his voice low and threatening. "It'll only make things worse for you." I am feeling I am being interrogated, but how can there be such an effect just with one expression? Cherise Miss Activist doesn't want to date Zaire the fine as hell white boy not for his race but for his secrets.
