10 years have passed since Atem passed into the afterlife. Yugi and the gang have not forgotten the pharaoh but they have moved on. But what if the seal the kept the darkness trapped cracked. The shadow games are slowly starting to return. But they aren't the only things that have returned. Along with the shadow games Atem has returned. But this time his friends from ancient Egypt are coming with him. Will Atem be able to save the world from the shadow games again? Will Alyssa Kiba adopted sister of Seto; who helped the pharaoh before, fall for him again? Will they find love? Or will it all end in darkness?

Everyday that has pass makes Yugi's condition worsen to the point that Dark Magician is pissed at Atem and Yami and makes a decision to look after his Mistress Yugi in placed of them. Will they realize their mistake before Yugi's time runs out or will Yugi die in vain? [A/N]: I do not own Yu-Gi-Oh! but the story plot is mine and nope I don't hate any Yu-Gi-Oh Characters, I just have my most favorite to least. Yami is finding it difficult being away from everyone and now has returned to being Atem. A few years has passed and Yami finally has a mirror into Yugi's world and is able to see what he is up to. Unfortunately it isn't going well with Yugi as he is not the happy teen he used to be. Yami has had enough of watching and begs the gods to let him return and they do, giving him the body he used to have. What will happen when Yugi meets up with Yami again and when Yami has seen what has happened to Yugi. I do not own Yugioh or it's characters, I only own the plot. Winning Without Gods (A Yu-Gi-Oh Fanfiction) IN PROGRESS!
I am turning this into the full uncut version called Punishment of Redemption, it features two Yu-Gi-Oh! Dimensions (The Manga and Anime together.) *Explanations at bottom of chapters for each Universe and gods, so you can read not knowing both versions or egyptian mythology. The Blue-Eyes dragon has arisen. The Dark Magician is lying in wait within a friend, as well as the rebirth of Mana in another. Pharoah Atem has been given a mortal body again, as well as a random egyptian of no importance whatsoever, who happened to be friends with Bakura in Egypt. These shouldn't be taken lightly. A high Egyptian Pharoah well-known even today has casted judgment against Earth, and only goddess cats of trickery even give a damn. But the way to take things back? Blood will spill. Souls will be damned. Love and friendship will be tested. The cost to play this game though, needs a gentler Universe to help pay the exorbitant fee. Treated like commodities, Atem is tricked out of his afterlife, Yugi and Tea are cursed with millennium items grafted to them, and nobody can escape payment. As Seto Kaiba found out, it won't be through a checking account but by Egyptian power and sacrifice. File changing will take some time. Eventual title change will come later. I decided to change this to the original long version due to the sequel actually having these two dimensions coming together.
