Lighting can be a beautiful wonder in the sky, or a mysterious light flashed before your eyes. But lighting can also be very dangerous. 
Barry Allen was struck by lightning. He was a bright forensic CSI for the Central City Police Department. Now would he ever be able to open his eyes again?

What is strength of will without the pain of perservance? Barry Allen wasn't ready to die that faithful night he confronted the monster known as Zoom in front of his entire team and the rest of the Central City, but that didn't mean he wasn't willing to. Though, fate seemed to find a much harsher way to provide retribution for his overconfidence in a way no speedster ever would've thought in their wildest nightmares to come true; For his entire waist down to become paraylzed, including his legs. The partial accelerator malfunctions once turned on. Barry Allen a CSI at CCPD gets hit by lightning created by the accelerator putting him into a coma for 9 months.
