Lunoera Dragomir, the only daughter of a once-powerful family with vast lands and a prestigious winery, fell in love with and married Don Angnas, a vassal of the Angenas family. Initially happy, their marriage soured after her father and the family knights were summoned to deal with bandits but mysteriously disappeared. During this time, Don manipulated Lunoera, isolating her from the world. Left alone and imprisoned in her own home, she suffered years of mistreatment at the hands of Don and his mother, with only a young slave named Sophie as her companion. Eventually, Lunoera was forced to serve as a spy for the Lombardi family monitoring the health of the elder Lombardi and where she formed a deep bond with Florentia, who became her escape from her painful reality.

One day, Florentia said something that would forever change Lunoera's life "If I had a relationship with my mother, I imagine it would be like the one we have." Her smile reminded her of what she has lost but also of what she had gained. She vowed to protect the ones that she hold dear as well as the rest of her people just as her father once taught her.

From that day forward, Lunoera Dragomir's fate became inextricably intertwined with that of the youngest Lombardi, sealing their connection forevermore.
