This is an xreader story where you, the reader, are reincarnated into a pup's body with a family of wolves surrounding you, proclaiming to be your family.
I was a cave explorer and found an area with water that led to the outside of the cave. The opening that I came through had collapsed and I knew somewhere inside of me that this was my only way out so I took it. Unfortunately for me, I cannot hold my breath for more than 2 minutes when I'm not moving. I panick halfway there since I felt something touch my leg, which shortened my oxygen and I was actively swimming so I could only hold my breath for a minute.
My vision is getting dimmer even with the sunlight above me. I'm still nowhere near the surface when I can hold my breath no more, the water floods my lungs. It doesn't taste like seawater it- I'm sinking and I can't force my body to move. I thought that your brain was supposed to show flashes of your life when you die not a paw reaching out to you.
