At the end of Resurgent, Tris was saved by the resurgence serum. She was no longer convergent, she was cured. It's almost a year later since the war has ended. There are no more factions but Tris wonders if there are any lasting city's left. Tris forces Tobias, Zeke Christina, Uriah and Caleb to come with her on this Journey to find other city's.
