The God | fruits basket
She fiddled with the band of beads adorning her wrist as her eyes flashed dangerously, "you may believe being the god is all fun and games, but out of all people, you should know that being who I am, is a curse." - Himiko Sohma is considered to be an average student who goes to Kaibara Municipal High school, along with her sister through adoption, Tohru. Despite being sisters, her long black hair, dark eyes, and blank slate of an expression, sets her apart. Her aura of crackling energy doesn't go unnoticed by Hana, and the dark secret she holds could compromise the head of the Sohma family. All of this defines who she is, and with her eye catching looks and power, she plans on ripping apart the person who took her place in the Sohma family, and to help save those she loves from the curse that affects them all. Join Himiko Sohma with her story of befriending a stubborn rat, an overambitious cat, and the rest of the Sohma family on her journey on regaining her position as the true god within the 12 Chinese zodiac. ©2025 -

Mei grew up surrounded by facts, not fiction. Science, not religion. Real life, not some pipe dream fantasy that most others had. Of course it come as a surprise to her that the stupid, blunt black and white haired boy who helped her once would end up changing everything she thought she knew about the world. This doesn't directly follow the Anime or the Manga, it's more of my own plot line that I came up with to differ from some of the other fanfiction I've seen but there might be spoilers from the Manga so read with caution.Complete

We do not own the cover or the fandom this fanfiction is based off! Fruits basket belongs to the author and animators, not us. The cover does not belong to us as well. Tohru Honda is now a Soma! She got her happily ever after with Kyo, the cat in the zodiac family. You see, she met Kyo when her mother died and her grandfather was renovating the house. She didn't have a place to go until Yuki Soma invited her to stay at his and Shigure's place as long as she helped clean. The only problem was the family curse. When ever a member of the Soma family cursed by the zodiac was hugged by the opposite sex, they would transform into one of the zodiac animals. She had to keep it a secret. Not soon after, Kyo began to live there too. The only problem was that Kyo was the worst cursed of all. He had the curse of the cat. The curse of the cat meant that not only did he have his form of being a cat when hugged by a girl, he also turned into a monstrous creature whenever he wasn't wearing his beaded bracelet. Tohru, after seeing his form, accepted it. Kyo finally was able to open up to someone, and that someone was Tohru Honda. This began the lift off the curse. After being married for 2 years, they had their first child. There was just one problem, the curse was giving a lot of final blows before it truly ended. This affected their first born, Keeta. She was not supposed to be affected by the curse of the cat. It always skipped a generation, but this time.... they were wrong. Based off the animation, Fruits Basket (not mangaComplete

Shifting Souls | Fruits Basket Story (Momiji x Y/n)
You, Y/n Sohma, are a special part of the Zodiac. You're the aligning soul, the soul that is seated next to god, working hand in hand with them. Your soul, in the story, represents the banquet itself. Designed to be organized and help the others in the family. Your soul is supposed to act as a therapist for the god, in other terms, keep them happy. The thing is, your soul some years ago betrayed the god by suicide (basically breaking the curse), leaving the other zodiacs to suffer. When you were born, with the rebirth of the aligning soul after decades, everyone was amazed, but since that day Akito (the holder of the god soul) has gone crazy, almost psycho. You've been cooped up since then, but will that agony ever end? (I just wanna say that this story takes a while to get to the Momiji x Y/n part, sorry) I DO NOT OWN FRUITS BASKET, THIS IS NOTHING BUT A FANFICTION. Sending a HUGE thanks to one of my fans for the book cover, you're amazing!!! Yes, this story has been completed. There is an actual ending and everything! Last updated, May 29th 2022.Complete
