Jack is an innocent victim of a terrible prank. Alex is the star of a twisted stunt gone terribly wrong. If ever a moment Jack thought he was safe from heartbreak with the king of Delaney High School that moment was ruined as soon as reality hit him in the face on the day that made him wish he could take back everything they ever did. The day Jack realized he was just a pawn to be played in a horrific joke.

Safe was something Alex hadn't felt since he was a child, and even then, after the truth all came out, he realized he had never been safe in the first place.
