The world has always had mysterious, unexplainable things that happen throughout everyday life. Like when that one mother can seem to smell something that others can't pick up on. That overly athletic person when they never seem to run out of energy, or even break a sweat for that matter. To the world where the supernatural and natural coexist and werefolk in particular seem to like living the double life. Where humans didn't know of them and they like to keep it like that. Most packs are of old ages. Living for up to centuries, millennias even to establish their territory and clan rules. And are therefore usually were well off and own most if not everything in the land they claim, stretching out their power and branches to every corner inn their respective areas they call home. But, to keep up the facade to let humans under the impression that they are the ones on top of the food chain. The werefolk have devoted themselves to keeping things solely between themselves unless for good reasons. And the best way to make them not want to look into information that could put them in life threatening danger? Well, fear tends to work wonders on the weak and cautious minds of the primal apes. So where packs lay, mobs stood in there place in the human world. Working the system and abusing loopholes to keep themselves in the know whilst also making the 'mindful' humans keep their distance and the oblivious to continue living in ignorant bliss. After all, who wants to mess with the Mafia? A tale of a soldier wanting to retire the violence and a killer wanting to escape his fate. A world created to the help of my dear friend and our shared obsession of our characters, so we out them all in this story. We hope you enjoy their story as much as we do. :) Book cover is done by Just Alex, feel free to find them here on Neobook or their insta @ https://www.instagram.com/justalexstories?igsh=OG1oZ3l4cnQ3cWlv

Theo Graham has always felt like the "black sheep" of his pack. He's never managed to shift as effortlessly as his packmates, never been affected by the notorious "Haze" that all werewolves go through in their late teen years, and biggest of all, he's almost 21 and still has yet to find his fated mate. He's sick and tired of everyone telling him that there isn't any rush, and that it will "happen when it happens." Sure, some wolves find their mates in their early adult years, but *most* found theirs in their late teens, and for once in his life, Theo craves to be a part of the majority. He wants to finally feel like a proper werewolf--not some defective mistake. However, during the Alphas' anniversary ball, an accidental run-in with the sole heir of the Mockingbird pack sets Theo's life on a course he could have never anticipated.
