Stepping Between Worlds

Several weeks have passed since Sir Guy of Gisborne and Lady Ada of Chetwood's dangerous adventure with the thugs who kidnapped them for ransom, disrupting their picnic. After being rescued by Ada's father, Lord William Earl of Chetwood, with the help of Robin Hood and Allan-A-Dale, Gisborne and Ada have started an amorous relationship, although in an unofficial way. In order to prevent gossip as much as possible, their meetings are discreet, occurring mostly in secret places in Sherwood or, more rarely, when Gisborne visits Chetwood Manor and stays overnight as a welcome guest.
Today, they have a date in the forest, where they plan to spend a few sweet hours together. The chosen place is called the Cave of the Fairies, and legend has it that inside of it, the boundaries of the Fairy World and the normal world overlap, so much so that sometimes magical beings stumble into our world and vice-versa. Of course, neither Ada nor Guy believe these fables to be true...
