Isabella 'Bella' Harding was born to chase, and raised to make a difference.
It wasn't easy following in the footsteps of her mother Callie, and grandparents Bill and Jo, but she and her best friend Kate wanted to do more than increase warning times - they wanted to disrupt a tornado.

Bella lived by her mum's old motto: 'It's only crazy if you fail.'
And Bella never failed. Until she did.

After that day, she kept herself under the radar from other storm chasers, using her old aunt Meg's surname Greene to keep anyone at bay.

But it wasn't enough, and so she moved away, cutting off contact from everyone who meant something to her. Everything that made her who she was.

Callie had always tried to keep Bella away from the chasing life. 'Stick to the lab and no one gets hurt.' But she knew she couldn't keep Bella away forever, and now seeing Bella so broken, wishes she could turn back time and fix what happened to Bella and Kate's friends...but Callie knew better than anyone: you can't chase the past. She had to let her daughter ride this storm herself and come out the other side.
