S-20 has only ever known one thing, Hydra, until one man came into his life and showed him that there was so much more. That man was his first friend. His older brother. But after one night, the two were ripped apart and S-20 cannot even remember his face, only the words and stories that he said. After years of pain and torture, S-20 was finally able to escape from Hydra.

Tony Stark once had a son. He once had a wife. He once had a heart. All of it was ripped away from him, one fateful night. His young boy stolen at the age of three. The only thing left of him being the wrinkled photographs of his mangled body. The smallest caskets are always the heaviest. And Tony's been drowning ever since.

No, James Buchanan Barnes hated war. And all that it had stole from him. After he fell from that fright car, he thought he could finally gave some peace in death. Even that was taken away. He spent decades with monsters that only saw him as less than. The only good thing there being a young, small mutant that he shared a cell with. Even that was taken away. Now he was free. There was no war; only peace. That wasn't the same for the battle raging through his mind.

With nowhere else to go Sam lets Alaska stay with him until she decides what to do next. What Alaska doesn't know is that Sam also extends his hospitality to a certain Ex-assasin. When Alaska meets Bucky for the first time she is mesmerized. Not only by his looks but also by his kind and caring soul. Still battling the demons of his past, Bucky doesn't want anyone to get hurt anymore-especially not Alaska. But she has a way of wiggling herself through the cracks of the wall he has built around his heart and it is hard to stay away from her. This is a short little story I wrote this summer and its also the first story I have ever written...so please be nice to me lol.
