Winter has settled down in Sanctuary and Lynx lives in the Ice Kingdom as one of Snowfall's few tolerable advisors. Thousands of miles apart the two worry about their friendship,  but when a series of meetings spiral into feelings Winter's mother, Tundra, decides her son doesn't deserve that happiness and will do anything to tear the two apart. She gives Lynx an ultimatum to leave Winter and marry an Icewing or she will kill him. Now Lynx must either leave Winter, shattering both their hearts to save the life of her beloved Prince, or stand and fight with him in the final hour of their love.
