Dante, a bouncer and aspiring musician in Los Angeles, forms a new band after meeting confident guitarist Knox through an online ad. While juggling work and personal life, Dante's band starts to come together, including his friend Sage, a guitarist with a complicated past. Tensions rise as Sage's feelings for Dante grow, leading to a brief romantic encounter.
