Nyx Kholin's life takes an unexpected turn when, at age 12, her mother, Dr. Elena Kholin, an astrophysicist, passes away, leaving behind a cosmic secret. Nyx, raised on Earth, grows up unaware of her true heritage. At the orphanage, she befriends Keith, the quiet loner who sits on the rooftop, tracing constellations. Their bond deepens as they steal kisses under the moonlight and share whispered stories of stars. But duty calls Nyx to a distant destiny where love defies galaxies, and at age 16, Nyx disappears without a trace or so much as a goodbye to her dear friend, leaving Keith alone once again.
