Project Reborn was founded in the fall of 1954,  in hopes of creating the next Captain America. The project focused on creating a life form with Steven Grant Rogers strength and mindset that could be easily molded and manipulated into the perfect soldier to take down the western world. Only problem with this plan is that Hydra scientists didn't account for the fact that maybe these soldiers wouldn't quite fit the role they forced down their throats, since the day they were created.
