The Strongest of the Heian and Modern Eras have died. The Heavens, unable to take them into the Afterlife, reincarnates them in the hopes the next life proves more fulfilling and satisfying, lowering their resistance to the end.

Their nature and power unaltered, the two sides of a coin traverse Hero obsessed Japan, lost and purposeless, seeking something to satisfy them.

And most of all, fighting with their selfish natures, in their struggle to be what they can't grasp.
