After being drowned and inhaling too much smoke while saving the children in Windrixville, Ponyboy starts to notice how hard it was to breathe. Not wanting to bother the rest of the gang, Ponyboy doesn't mention anything to his friends. 

What happens when Ponyboy is rushed to the hospital after passing out at the end of the rumble and his brothers and friends find out about the secret he was keeping?
