Colton Barrett, the man of four kids and the biggest ranch in Texas. On the outside he has it all together. Little does the town know but Colton destroyed the relationships between him and his children years ago. Richard Barrett struggles with alcoholism and his crippling codependency, Cash seems to have it all together but inside he feels empty, Asher wants nothing more than his dad and wife's love but he's looking at the farm hand the wrong way lately, and Trixie can't seem to stay in one place too long.

The family comes together once again, by unlikely circumstances when a young boy names Jesse reminds them of a past they wish never would've happened.
